The Ladies Night dinner/dance was cancelled due to the extremely low response in replies for attendance. The cutoff date for replies was Friday, September 18, 2009.

We thank Local 353 for inviting our retirees and their spouses to attend their annual Retirees Christmas Dinner.
Local 894 retirees who wish to attend please contact Tammy and leave your name and indicate if your wife will be attending also.
Local 894 will provide the transportation as in previous years. Please respond ASAP to allow time to notify Local 353 of the numbers and
to arrange transportation.
Reminder: In order to be reimbursed for night school courses and on line trade school courses etc., they must first be approved by the Executive Board prior to enrolling.
This committee meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at Local 894. Interested members requiring additional information or wishing to attend please Executive Board member John Mightis.
Local 894 union steward’s/health & safety rep's daily log books are now available at the union office.
Reminder: Please be certain you are registered on the out of town work list if you are willing to travel and work in another Local’s jurisdiction. If you are not on the travel list you will not be called for a job outside Local 894 jurisdiction. If you can’t be contacted the next available member on the list will be called. When we get travel calls we don’t have a lot of time to fill them and the call may go to another local. That’s the way it works. Simply said, if you are willing to work out of town be sure we have a number where you can be reached.
