Local 894 Vice President and Food Drive Organizer Raye West wishes to thank the members of Local 894 for their generous monetary and food donations that made the 5th Annual Food Drive a great success. Brother West informs us that $845.00 was collected plus numerous food donations. The $845.00 was used to purchase more food items and all were delivered to local charities and were received with sincere gratitude. Thanks again to Local 894.

The Local 894 Entertainment Committee has arranged another Family Swimming Party for Sunday, January 17th, 2010.
Eleven apprentices were sworn in at the General Meeting on December 17th, 2009. The eleven apprentices have successfully completed the Member Orientation seminar, Basic Trade School and one (1) year working in the trade. Congratulations, Brothers and Sisters.
Several Local 894 retirees and their spouses attended the Local 353 Christmas Dinner on November 21st, 2009 and we wish to thank retired Brother Don Johnston for his much appreciated assistance with this event.
