The purpose of this meeting is for discussion on the changes and conducting a vote on the tentative 2010-2013 EPSCA Agreement.
The results of this vote will direct President Randy O’Neill and me how to cast our vote on August 12, 2010 on a scheduled conference call.
The majority vote of the 13 locals in the province will decide to accept or reject the Agreement on August 12, 2010. The President and Business
Manager of each local have one vote each and Local 353 has 3 votes to reflect the size of their membership. Total of 27 possible votes, majority
decides.
Eligible voters at the Local 894 vote are only the members who are currently employed under an EPSCA Agreement or were employed under
EPSCA during the week ending July 17, 2010. Members must be in good standing in order to be eligible to vote.
These two committees will meet at Local 894 on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.
Oshawa Mayor John Grey will be the guest speaker and is looking forward to coming out, meeting our members, and answering questions.

Paul Rogers, Terry Dorgan, Raye West and John Gillett will attend and represent Local 894.

3. $10,000.00 political action candidate support for upcoming municipal elections: APPROVED
