April General Meeting has been moved to Thursday, April 29, 2010 6:30 p.m.
Results of the motion to provide an additional $10,000.00 for Hockey expenses: DENIED.
To reduce the hourly stabilization contributions to $1.00 per hour on May 1, 2010 and add the extra$1.00 to the Base Rate and Vacation pay.
This motion will be voted on at the April 29th General Meeting by secret ballot vote.
FYI: A motion was previously passed by secret ballot on February 25, 2010 to add $0.50 per hour to the stabilization fund on May 1, 2010
bringing the total hourly contributions to $2.00 on May 1, 2010. If the new motion is passed the total stabilization funds will be reduced
to $1.00 per hour on May 1, 2010 and $1.00 would be added to the base rate and vacation pay.
To defer the purchase of jackets until such time the outcome regarding the proposed merger of Locals 353, 894 and 1739 becomes more apparent. The membership would not be required to vote again on this matter in the interest of expediency. This motion will be voted on at the April 29, 2010 General Meeting. Secret Ballot Vote.

There will be a secret ballot vote with the following selections of where to apply the remaining $0.13 per hour. Select one only.
> Add $0.13 to the hourly base rate/vacation pay.
> Apply $0.13 per hour to start a market recovery assistance fund (to assist members working on market recovery rates)
> Apply $0.13 per hour to start a travel assistance fund to assist members working out of town (similar to the program in Local
115 Kingston)
